ebay - Pan Am DC-7 ashtray model $381 and climbing

it is amazing what these models are worth ... a vintage 50s Pan Am DC-7 ashtray model .... currently at $381. Where's the recession? Seems like a lot of money for a not particularly attractive model.

A great old Granite or Marble base Alumimun aircraft model.Has some missing paint but other then that it is in great condition.
