Nemoto USAF B17 sold for $227

Nemoto models from Japan are lovely examples produced in the 1950s and 1960s. They are fairly hard to find and usually pricey.

Here is the seller's description:

This auction is for a Boeing QB-17 Drone Desk Model. The model was made in the 1950's by either Tenshodo or Nemoto. Both Tenshodo and Nemoto were famous Japanese model makers and they made some of the finest desk models. The model measures 13" wide and 10" long. The model is made out wood and it sits on its original metal stand. The model is in great shape for being 60+ years old. The model has some amazing craftsmanship as all the flight surfaces, fuselage details, and engine details have been carved out. The model is painted just like the actual remote controlled QB-17's that were used as drones for missile testing. The models original propellers were lost some time ago, but the replacements look great. Tenshodo and Nemoto models are very rare and to find another QB-17 would be nearly impossible.
