Publishing a photo book on Travel Agent display models

I am working on publishing an all colour photo book on travel agent display models to be published very soon.

Are there any collectors out there would like to provide quality photos of models from their collections for my book?

I will need high resolution images, along with a write up for each photo explaining the model, it's background, maker, possibly how it was added to your collection etc.

Collectors are welcome to provide 20-30 photos for my consideration.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Please give us a status update on your book. Did you obtain the photo contributions you were seeking? Has the book gone to the publisher?

I look forward to seeing the book when it's available.

Hi Brian .. So far zero request to this post so I have no reported interest. I would need a number of collectors to support he effort. So with zero so far .. It is dead in the water.

Henry, I understand.

I will continue to check in here daily, in hopes that, over time, additional collectors will find their way to this forum and this topic. I'm confident that we would all enjoy seeing a "critical mass" of enthusiasts who will eagerly share their collections with this forum.

10-4 ... at least I put it out there.

A friend of mine was going to do a written work on the history of travel agent models and the makers who supplied them over the years. Unfortunately I don't think he's gotten too far with it, but I shall ask him next time we speak.

The idea for my book was just a photo gallery type of book. A big picture on each page, with a sentence or two caption. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. So we'll see if in time any other collectors chime in and want to support this project.
