Seems like a very ambitious price to me for a blank... more than double what it should be ... madness ...

This is an original 1950's travel agency metal airliner model. The airplane is a DC-7C which in the late 50's was the world's longest range airliner. The airlines referred to it as the "Seven Seas" (with the exception of Pan American which called it the "Super 7").
This DC-7C measures: 30-1/8" Wingspan and 27-1/4" Fuselage length. It weighs 14.5 pounds. It is in excellent condition with all four complete turning props. It is polished metal with no major nicks or blemishes, surprisingly few minor blemishes considering its age. This was very well taken care of for the past approximately 55 years. The airplane has been in my possession for more than 20 years and proudly displayed without moving other than to dust it. This is truly a rare find especially considering its great condition!
