Two classic being restored in our shop ...

Postby Henry Tenby » Thu Mar 14, 2013 10:48 pm

These two very old models are being restored in our paint shop. On the left is a 1/72 1950s era wooden B337 Stratocruiser model, very accurate, made of carved oak. I have never seen a model like this before acquiring this example a decade ago. It was an English ID model from the era.

And on the left is an original 1/72 Westway Viscount 700 in metal. This model was in very beat up Fred Olsen livery. It will be re-done in either Air Canada colours, or Icelandic.

Both models have been primed .. and we're just about ready to give them their silver coats.

I certainly shall Brian! I am posting a new thread now about the Stratocruiser.
